Community Initiatives

Shouldering Our Corporate Social Responsibility

Saksham is an employee outfit, which was formed to do community service with voluntary contributions from all employees. It started in 2004.

With the continuous support from our employees and their contributions, we support the underprivileged society. Saksham members at Indus create and participate in different social initiatives that help improve our communities.

We continuously strive to work towards a cause that would affect one's life in a positive way.

Highlights of work done by Saksham


		We are involved in providing clothes, books meal facility to children of Eklavya, an NGO formed to help the children of commercial sex workers
		We also felicitate children from Blind School / Eklavya who do well in the academic year
		We are also involved in funding Jagriti School for Blind Girls, Pune. We have funded the school for procuring educational kit and musical instruments for the girls.
		We organize blood donation camps on a regular basis
		We are also associated with an NGO started by few IT professional and regularly fund them for medicines and other social cause.
		We also plan to visit cancer patients of Care India and work towards their medical requirements.

Saksham plans to work on more projects of similar kinds year on year where we may do our bit to support the underprivileged.
