About the Client
The client is a Multinational Bank about to launch a new product
into the market. The new product would give the new customers an
easy way of making subsequent transactions without any additional
formalities.
Challenge
The assumption was that there would be no product specialization
within Customer service and each & every agent will be able
to manage all customer queries and dispositions concerning all the
products present in the Bank without withstanding the system it
is based on. Hence the need for a front-end application for Customer
Service was required. The front-end application required to
- Support the insight into all products and databases without
switching to other systems
- Be user friendly
- Give all information about a customer’s status in the
Bank
- Have minimum number of screens in order to save time
- Have basic screens in local language.
Solution
We offered developing the Generic Users Interface (GUI)-Integration
solution, which interfaces with Legacy Mainframe and the existing
receivables system using ApplinX, which is a Legacy Integration
tool from Sabratec. It is a Server-based technology for integration
and collaboration of legacy applications into Client-Server, J2EE/.NET
and web environments.
The solution provided was able to provide Single View of a Customer
Across Systems and had the ability to communicate with Current back
end systems and Vision Plus. The Load Balancing feature of ApplinX
was used with local language support.
