About the Client
The client runs the largest private label credit card program in
Thailand, for the largest retail department store in Southeast Asia.
Sales Finance is also provided by private label sales finance cards.
These products provide financing at department stores and specialty
stores to qualified purchasers of items ranging from electronics,
electrical appliances, office automation equipment, furniture, sports
equipment and musical instruments.
Challenge
The client wanted to adopt a comprehensive application to manage
the business processes in order to reduce delinquency costs, improve
collector focus, control the business more effectively, track pre-emptive
delinquency & improve turn around time in tracking of Private label credit
cards, Sales finance business and Personal loan portfolios.
The client wanted to move from Magic ICAPS System to LSI NT to
manage huge volume of application Processing and to have a more
flexible / parameterized system. Similarly the character based User
Interface had to be shifted to GUI.
Solution
The solution provided by us had to support multiple types of applicants
and businesses and capable of handling huge volume of data from
various external systems. There should also be a platform for tackling
and processing repayment/collection operations and provide wider
range of reports.
Indus Loan Origination system, the solution offered to the client
provided complete supporTANDA stable platform for processing their
multiple applications. The credit card business and the closed-end
personal loans business were tackled by the system. The Indus Loan
Origination System supports processing of applications from external
systems such as applications received from corporate websites and
applications captured by dealer having his own application.
The system also provides for linkages to external systems such
as Internal and external credit bureau, external printing systems
and Vision Plus (which sources origination data from LSI for managing
Repayments). |
