Time and Attendance System
About the Client
The client is leading financial institution in Germany. With headquarter in Frankfurt and 11 branches, it provide services for private banking and asset management in Germany. Total revenue of the client company is 300 million Euro.
Challenge
The client needed a system, to manage the daily attendance of their employees, with respect to maintaining the time in and out time of all the employees, a system to calculate the overtimes and the absence records. There was a need to automate the flexitime (extra time worked by employee) and overtime calculation, also the absence calculation of the employee with respect to bank holiday, location changes etc. All this was crucial for handling payouts too.
Solution
The TANDA system from Indus was developed to meet the business need. In order to provide accurate flextime and overtime balance of employees Indus made their flow sequential i.e. a user cannot proceed further if their prior timesheets are pending to be filled or to be approved. For this TAR (Time Attendance Register) and NON TAR (Employees who fill the timesheet randomly) employees both were tracked along with their employment status, ie full-time or part-time.
For absence calculation, Indus considers bank holidays, while excluding the weekend. To provide perfect calculation Indus had to consider these along with the change in location of the employee, their employee status, etc. The system was designed to ensure ease of use and ease of access.
